Trastevere
Trastevere is a wonderful part of Rome situated at the southern part of Tibern. Here one can find many genuine small restaurants and it is lovely to dine here in the evenings.
The easiest way to get to Trastevere is to go by tram from Corso Vittorio Emanuele II along Via Arenula and travel across the Tiber over the bridge Ponte Garibaldi. Once across the Tiber one can stop anywhere and it is never far to a nice little restaurant.
.

It is so lovely to walk around in the small alleys in Trastevere a warm evening.
In the middle of Trastevere one can find the church Santa Maria in Trastevere. This is a very nice little church and it has become a very popular church to get married in. In front of the church lies the little square Piazza Santa Maria in Trastevere which has a fontain with eight sides. The square has become a popular place for vagabonds and travelling young people to meet. It is really nice to see a little square so full of life.
